  1. I would really like to get to the bottom of why feminists always rush to the charge of ‘victim-blaming’ when anyone suggests that women avoid getting falling down drunk in public, when this would clearly reduce the number of rapes.

    Are they concerned that this sentiment might lead the courts to consider the accuser being drunk at the time of the alleged rape as a mitigating factor? If so, is there any evidence for this?

    Do they see punishing men as a higher priority, than protecting women?

    Do they secretly want to see higher levels of rape because it gives feminists especially those that work in the criminal justice system in such areas as rape counselling etc., a raison d’etre and access to increased funding?
