Radio 4’s Jenni Murray criticised over trans women article

Our thanks to Stu for this. He speculates that this piece, together with the Emma Watson piece we linked to earlier today, suggests the BBC’s feminist censorship department is having a rare day off.

If everyone who read this gave us just £1 – or even better, £1 monthly – we could change the world. Click here to make a difference. Thanks.

  1. Love it love it. Great to see hoo ha in the identity politics world. The whole transgender thing really does mix it up! Never mind that actually its about a teeny weeny number of folk lets crank it up. For if Jenni’s right and “womanhood” (lovely old fashioned term) is innate then what’s all the bollocks about equality being the same? And if the other feminists are right about “gender” being a cultural thing, then whats the problem with people doing a swap?
Both showing up their “theory of everything” falls over when tested.
Judging on the quality of character would appear a better place to be.
So bring it on, lovely daft storm in a tea cup including a Vicar.. Somehow I’m back to the era of Dick Emery.

  2. This ‘news’ has also been reported on television, including the aspect that trans women supposedly benefitted from a privileged male upbringing.

Very few feminists realise the nonsense that they are walking into with the trans-sexual thing. Feminists will insist that gender (the social aspects of one’s biological sex) is only a social costruct, with either no biological component or negligible effect. So, according to mainstrem feminist doctrine, gender has no relationship to sex at all, other than impositions which society (i.e. ‘The Patriarchy’, aka privileged men) put upon people. Yet at the same time, they fully support the idea of people changing their apparent sex to MATCH their gender. Note that feminism can’t tell people to change their gender to match their sex because ‘gender is just a social construct’ and therefore people living a different gender to their sex are simply living proof of their feminist faith. So, instead, feminism supports people surgically messing around with their bodies to appear – with a greater or lesser degree of success – as the opposite sex; just so that their apparent sex matches their gender.

Feminism. I couldn’t make up something so stupid if I tried.
