BBC ‘The Big Questions’, 22 January. Is the system still stacked against women? Does prison work?

Our thanks to E for editing this (video, 40:56), just published on our YouTube channel. We’ve included a brief commentary below the video, pointing to key sections. Belinda Brown, an important contributor to The Conservative Woman website, makes some sterling contributions. It’s good to hear her robust criticisms of feminism, while Angela Epstein, a columnist with the Telegraph, rather lamely labels herself publicly as a ‘non feminist’.

If everyone who read this gave us just £1 – or even better, £1 monthly – we could change the world. Click here to make a difference. Thanks.

  1. Well care certainly doesn’t work. Though they don’t say its “gendered” this Beeb report highlights the suicide rate amongst care leavers. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-38961818 telling the stories of males , because of course males are much more likely to be in care, and much more likely to be in institutional care rather than fostered. And so the majority of the suicides of care leavers are males.
