Miranda Rader, 19, drunk student from Texas A&M University, crashes into police car while taking topless selfie

Our thanks to Hannah for tweeting a link to this. The start of the piece:

A 19-YEAR-OLD university student taking a topless selfie while driving slammed into the rear of a stopped police car and was arrested, police said on Thursday.

The student from Texas A&M University, Miranda Rader, also had an open bottle of wine in a cup holder next to her, the Bryan Police Department said.

  1. This was the patriarchy’s fault. If men hadn’t invented and built cars, she wouldn’t have been driving one and this wouldn’t have happened. Moreover, a woman is unable to make an informed choice when drunk, so it’s the police officers’ fault. Come to think of it, men invented and built cameras too, so this woman has been the victim of at least 3 injustices. I am off to change.org to start a petition to save her.

    • You missed out that if it were not for The Patriarchy™ putting pressure on women to see themselves as beautiful, Rader’s narcissism would not have surfaced and she wouldn’t be taking a photo of herself.

  2. Here is the case of Emma Allan; another drunken women who attacks police officers ( for the 2nd time in 5 years in this case ) and gets away without a custodial sentence. She also deployed some sexist tactics by stating ‘..fear of male police officers’ when the police tried to arrest her and breath test her. Having a fear of drunken women is a genuine and rational fear in our modern age! : http://www.bailiwickexpress.com/jsy/news/drunken-woman-tried-bite-and-kick-police-officers/
