In the wake of the highly successful International Conference on Men’s Issues (2016), which we hosted in association with A Voice for Men, we invited people concerned about the assaults on men’s and boys’ human rights to become party members. Subscriptions from party members (and others) have since become the financial lifeblood of our political party.

Nobody connected with the party has ever drawn any personal income from party subscriptions and donations, and we don’t expect that to change. If it does change, we shall make a public announcement to that effect, and contact all party members, asking if they wish to continue with their subscriptions.

When J4MB was launched in February 2013, we had no basis for forecasting how well, if at all, we would be received by the general public. At that time the prevailing public conviction was that feminists pursue gender equality, in stark contrast to what was demonstrably true, and remains so.

Only a small minority of women (9% in the UK, according to the Fawcett Society) self-identify as feminists. Feminists seek ever more gender privileging regardless of the impact on men, women, boys, girls, families, public institutions, and wider society. They are driven by misandry (the hatred of men). If anyone should doubt the truth of these assertions, we invite them to read our 2015 general election manifesto in which we explored 20 areas where the human rights of men and/or boys are assaulted by the actions and inactions of the state, almost always to privilege women and/or girls. There are no areas in which the state assaults the human rights of women and/or girls specifically.

Fatherlessness, restoring strong families

Access to children after family breakdowns

Healthcare provision

Political representation

State interference in director appointments

Expectation of retirement years

The assaults on men and boys are often led or enabled by feminists in influential positions e.g. Theresa May MP (Prime Minister, formerly Home Secretary) and Alison Saunders (Director of Public Prosecutions). Most of the assaults, however, are led by men – often at the behest of feminists – with no concern for the wellbeing of men and boys as a class.

J4MB is the only political party in the English-speaking world campaigning for the human rights of men and boys on many fronts. We’re also the only anti-feminist political party in the English-speaking world. We continue to be wholly reliant on party members and donors to cover the party’s costs.

Supporters (including donors) tell us we can be proud of what we’ve achieved in the past four years. Donors have sent sums ranging from £1 to £2,000. We’ve had over 100 appearances on mainstream television and radio – here. Countless newspaper, magazine, and blog pieces have been written about us. The tone of the reporting has sometimes been challenging and antagonistic, which we expected, but we’ve been delighted by the interest we have triggered in some of the most unlikely people. We can be sure that we’ve broken the blanket belief that men’s and boys’ issues are either non-existent, or unimportant. The comments streams following online articles have been very supportive of J4MB and what we’re seeking to achieve.

We’re going to raise our game in a number of areas, which will require a stronger financial base. We wish to increase our membership base in order to meet increasing campaigning costs.

One popular and highly visible way of supporting our party is to order a polo shirt, T-shirt, or sweatshirt, from the J4MB store. Shirts are available in men’s and women’s designs, in a wide variety of colours and sizes, in cotton or polycotton, and several designs are available. J4MB receives a commission of £2.50 for each shirt sold.

We invite you to become a party member. It’s the most efficient way to demonstrate your support of our work, reducing the need for the periodic appeals upon which we relied in the past. It also frees up our time for political campaigning, which would otherwise be spent on fundraising.
