Dr Niall McCrae is a lecturer at the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery at King’s College, London. It’s unusual to see academics other than working in the field of domestic violence publish articles on the issue, so we were pleased to read this piece on The Conservative Woman website.

Justice for Men & Boys 
As you say it is unusual but very welcome. Most of the work that counters the feminist analysis of DV is from psychologists and psychiatrists. Not to say that these professions don’t have their feminist wing. So there is a sort of parallel universe. With the feminist lobby focussed on the police and lawyers (particularly the CPS) using pretty flimsy data and often antiquated refuge based studies. Of course the “ologies” are at a disadvantage as they are more steeped in the scientific method building knowledge incrementally and in un sound bite friendly manner. In a sense what one sees is that education for Law being a “humanity” bypasses the science. Thus their education is solely on opinions.
