Lady Mone, lingerie tycoon, government business tsar, speaks in the House of Lords about the ‘doom and gloom’ barrier

What an appropriate surname Michelle Mone has.

Our thanks to William for this. He writes:

Move over ‘glass waterfall’, now there’s the ‘doom and gloom barrier’. Their appetite for themselves is insatiable.

  1. So she’s put in charge of business start ups and only want to help women. Seems to me she’s only doing half her job.

“that the greatest obstacle barriers to start-ups are not just the lack of capital or just expertise but the loneliest and lack of confidence and clear access to support networks,’ she told her fellow peers.

‘These barriers are experienced mostly by women and although I feel it’s the best it’s ever been since I started my business, we still have a long way to go.”

All men obviously have access to plenty of capital with that monthly patriarchy cheque.
