J4MB anti-MGM placards for the Parliament Square protest on International Men’s Day

On 19 November, International Men’s Day, we’ll be supporting Men Do Complain and protesting against MGM in Parliament Square. For the first time we’ll be employing sizeable J4MB-branded weatherproof placards, and our award-winning graphics design team has come up with this. We’ll change the image as the design evolves in response to feedback. Let us know what you think of it. Thanks.

  1. In my role today as ‘on his fat backside keyboard warrior’ it’s not my place to have an opinion – but you did ask… If these aren’t set in stone yet then I’d suggest losing the full stops after ‘illegal’ and ‘now’ (they’re not needed on a placard and make the spacing look odd), and shifting the text about to make ‘Circumcision of male minors is’ as large a font as ‘illegal’ and ‘now’ so that folks don’t need to look too hard to see the point. ‘Male Genital Mutilation must end’ is great as a tagline in its smaller font. Just my twopenneth, and as I say… I’m not the one doing the work to design/print these, whatever you use is good! 😉

  2. It may be a sheer coincidence but it is ironic that a Conservative MP is raising the issue of men’s rights after J4MB and MDC spread some awareness at the recent Conservative party conference. Perhaps the medicine is working?
