Kathy Gyngell: Suffragette owes more to the feminist angst of today than historical truth

Another solid piece from Kathy Gyngell. It’s a historical fact that the Suffragettes delayed female emancipation. I’m guessing wildly that this piece of feminist propaganda doesn’t reveal that truth, or so many other truths about the Suffragettes.

  1. The Suffragettes were not the only women to be more concerned with themselves than with the slaughter in France. Maria Dicken set herself to starting a charity to relieve the suffering not of wounded serving men but the pets of the poor. The PDSA celebrates its centenary in 2017.

Some women’s priorities defy reason and beggar belief.
