Javid undoubtedly subscribes to the notion that from the moment the human species lost its grip and fell out of the trees, man has uniformly and comprehensively oppressed woman in some pre-language, pre-technology global conspiracy, unchanged throughout the ages. When you think about it, if someone is really convinced that one sex of a binary species can accomplish that much without the need for any overt or explicit communication twixt father and son then it’s no wonder that men seem to be such terrifying creatures to feminists. Did poor Javid never realise that the secret membership signal for the Male Domination Conspiracy is to loosely curl ones fingers and thumb about the palm and to then make an occillating, reciprocating motion at the wrist and elbow? If he’s in Parliament how could he possibly have missed that one?
