An excellent piece by Neil Lyndon in the Telegraph two days ago.

A year ago AVfM published my piece explaining that the BBC had become a job creation scheme run by women for women – here. How else could you possibly explain Kate Smurthwaite’s frequent appearances on the BBC?

  1. I listen to news radio almost exclusively. A study would be too daunting but my observation is that there are at least as many female anchors, more female reporters, and way more female spokespeople who are being reported on than males.
