Well done Mike. The press will always misquote and disrespect, but you have now ‘joined the throng’ of those newsworthy enough to misconstrue.

Fantastic piece in the Independent, and much better than I’d expected, though very disappointed by the other two. It’s a shame those articles all focus on the abortion policy rather than actual important men’s issues. I expected this would be exactly what would happen and there really is quite a strong case for removing said policy from the manifesto (or condensing/merging it at the very least). That’s not to say the policy is wrong (or right), just that it is an unnecessary distraction at present and will be used to derail any discussions.
Would be interested to hear what other people thing. I started a discussion on Reddit and there was also strong opposition to the abortion policy on there, mostly for the reasons above.
