It’s that man again. Ray Barry. Another solid contribution to a TV debate, again (in common with our last YouTube posting) from ‘The Big Questions’ on BBC TV in 2009. The ‘big question’ was, ‘Do children need fathers?’. Even six years ago the BBC wouldn’t have hosted a debate with the insulting title, ‘Do children need mothers?’, and they certainly wouldn’t today.

Beatrix, in the usual controlling, bullying feminist style tries (successfully) to divert the conversation in the direction she wants it to go and rudely denies Ray Barry at the end the right to have his say. Typical! Despite this, Ray put in a sterling effort.
I have to say that to even hold such a debate titled “Do children need their Fathers?” is inherently sexist in itself and does an incredible amount of indirect damage to young minds who soak this up and form opinions based on what is being questioned publicly and openly on TV for all of society to see. How about we see a publicised TV debate titled: “Do children need their Mothers?” I wonder if someone put this forward they’d then realise how much that would rub up millions of decent Mothers! but who cares about men and Fathers, huh!
