Karen’s analysis is entirely right. The operation of raft of existing law and guidance is distorted by a political platform masquerading as an analysis. Calling out this ideology is made doubly difficult as it’s most vociferous advocates are protected by the deep animus to sanctify women in our society. Despite the breathtaking hypocrisy of standing on the very “pedestal” supposedly created by “patriarchy” in order to advance a sexist ideology, feminists do so shamelessly. As Karen says it is the ideology that has to be challenged.
