BBC3 TV live debate tonight: ‘What Do We Need Feminism For?’

We recently published a piece about a televised debate which is going to be broadcast live on BBC3 TV this evening at 8:00. It was originally billed with the title, ‘Do we live in a sexist country?’ but I see from today’s Daily Mail that the title has been changed to, ‘What Do We Need Feminism For?’ A good question, the answer to which is, of course, ‘Nothing’. The panel will consist of three women and a male comedian. Gender equality is a fine thing. There will be two intelligent women on the panel – Angela Epstein (writer and broadcaster) and Leanne Wood (leader of Plaid Cymru). Laura Bates will also be on the panel.

  1. I watched the hysterical whiny, lying harpy Laura Bates and all the other hysterical fanatical audience members tonight Mike.
    One interesting thing I noticed while watching it Mike (maybe you did too) was at 20 mins 39 secs into the program a young chap was disagreeing with whiny Laura Bates and calling into question her ‘facts’ and this young guy gave you and J4MB a plug. Just a couple seconds later while this young guy was still talking (some sense in all the bullshit) an utter scumbag audience member from behind made a ‘wanker’ gesture with his hand behind the guy’s head. I think the culprit was another guy with glasses but all the camera picked up was the audience member’s hand. Absolutely fucking childish scumbags behaving like that on TV. The lapdog scumbag was with his mistress who piped up and spouted some silly feminist bullshit.
    This is the behaviour of scum (probably socialist) manginas and whiteknights on national TV Mike.
