1. Exellent. I believe you cover a hell of a lot of ground succinctly and clearly. I think the positive thing about the party is that your manifesto and thinking about it is a positive, “What I am for’ rather than what I am against. I think this and the theme of fairness (justice). Ellen Fishbein’s lovely report of the AV4M conference ends with a perceptive relaying of a quote. Wherever it comes from – nature, nurture, or combination – our gynocentric society means most men will protect women if they are attacked (frankly I would too even though I might tell myself off while doing it). But I, and I feel many men, can be sensitised to unfairness and to the actions to address unfairness. So rather that anti- women’s ………… J4MB enables a formulation of what is fair and equitable? And can that be turned into a policy or guidance? Being for equity with actions/proposals is a different place to the (legitimate) airing of grievances which is a much longer project.
