Drunk driver Katy Homer spared jail after driving the wrong way on the M5 motorway

This woman could very easily have caused a multiple pile-up on a motorway, leading to considerable loss of life. SO WHY HAS SHE NOT BEEN JAILED? Day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, decade after decade, we read of women not being held properly accountable by the justice system. And people wonder why there are 80,000 men in British jails, and only 4,000 women…

  1. It’s a form of sexism against women Mike!!! They are not being treated equally by the Justice system perhaps we should let a few of the Feminist groups know they are being short changed!

  2. Having read the story it’s fairly obvious why she wasn’t jailed. “Her actions were wholly out of character” and she had been suffering from a depressive illness (is there any other kind?) that could have been affected by a disastrous relationship with a former partner. In other words, “I’m usually such a good girl but a man made me do it”.

    • Indeed. In all such stories it’s almost inevitable that some sort of mental health issue used as a mitigating circumstance – FAR more often than would be the case with men charged with the same offences.

  3. As it turns out, scamming the system and ripping off men and fathers is what feminism has turned out to be all about. Cases where drunk women (often sober ones as well)are not held accountable for their actions, while men are ALWAYS held accountable is a living testament to this. Shame on all the feminists for turning a blind eye to this ! Feminists have now proved,by the lack of their criticism in these cases, that theirs is a movement for superiority, illegal under the consitution.
