I have found myself adding “by proxy” to a lot of messed up gender issues feminists have. Like the “gender neutral” child, being Narcissism by proxy, to use your term…. like a form of Munchausen by proxy.
The scariest part, arguably anyway, that the victim or a mother who behaves this way, doesn’t care an ounce for the harm she does.
I’ve noticed this phenomenon in the discount store where I work. Mothers are constantly complaining that there are no toilets. I try to explain, to no avail, that we are a DISCOUNT STORE on a tight budget (not a public service) and if we had to maintain public toilets we would be a discount store no more… I regularly find nappies and poop left on the shelves. When the maternal instinct is allowed to become institutionalised, motherly entitlement shows no bounds and everyone else’s personal and economic needs become irrelevant.
You see it in the breastapo,
public breastfeeding flash-mob gestapo,
who not only seek out disapproval in public places,
but also want it rubbed in your faces…
A concerned mother was constantly writing to local rag about cyclists (all male) riding on pavement next to a notoriously dangerous main road, whilst she’s pushing pram. Wants to put men in REAL danger so she can FEEL safer.
