David Cameron will be interviewed this afternoon by a House of Commons Select Committee about ‘violence against women and girls’, female genital mutilation, and other issues relating to women and girls. The session will be broadcast live on BBC Parliament at 4pm today. We look forward to seeing if he’ll show any concerns for male victims of violence or genital mutilation, which is carried out in NHS hospitals and elsewhere, unregulated, in the UK every day of the week. Don’t hold your breath.

Did anyone have the stomach to listen to him? I do not hold out much hope he did not toe the gender feminist line through out without an ounce of shame. Would love to be proved wrong.

Hi John. Watched for some time but the piece didn’t appear as they were covering something far less interesting in the main chamber of the HoC. Maybe it will appear sometime. But we know Cameron always follows gender feminist narratives. He has since being voted leader by Tory MPs in the wake of the party’s 2005 general election defeat. Maybe he believes those narratives, maybe he figures he has nothing to lose. Maybe both. But he is, after all, the least principled Conservative party leader in living memory, by some distance.

At the risk of boring you. The VAWG strategy I’d a narrative that permeates public services particularly education and family services. We delude ourselves if we believe it won’t result in the dangerous nonsense in the Attila Vinczer case on AVfM. We are already seeing exclusions for sexual harrasment from schools based on the silliest pretexts. VAWG says all males are predatory and in effects propaganda to males and criminalisation of young men. Through “orders” and other civil instruments.

Thanks – no risk of boring me! The VAWG narrative is truly evil and designed to unduly scare women and girls, falsely leading them to believe feminists are their protectors rather than the people who’ve ALWAYS been their protectors, men.
