Bill Burr explains why Yoko Ono SUCKS

It’s time for a little light relief.

One of our favourite comedians here at the J4MB headquarters is Bill Burr, an American. We’ve posted a few excerpts from his material before. This new piece – containing some concert footage of John Lennon, Chuck Berry, Yoko Ono and others – contains some strong language, so those of you of a nervous disposition should possibly avoid it. Which would be a shame, though, because you’ll miss Chuck Berry’s expression when Yoko Ono starts screeching. I can’t recall when I last saw such a priceless expression on a person’s face. Enjoy:

Men’s Rights Activists: Is it time to stop being quiet and polite?

There’s a developing consensus among MRAs that decade after decade of quietly and politely debunking feminism as a hate-driven female supremacy movement which relies on a relentless narrative of conspiracy theories, fantasies, lies, delusions and myths, has been necessary, but it’s not enough.

There’s a growing appetite among MRAs to supplement the quiet and polite analysis with something far stronger, appealing to both the heart and the head. The debate about new directions is fermenting among MRAs, and we welcome a thought-provoking new piece by John Hembling:

Men’s Shed movement in Ireland

In the UK three out of four suicide victims are men, while in Ireland the ratio is even higher, four in five. So it’s good to learn of a ‘Men’s Sheds’ Initiative in Ireland http://menssheds.ie and http://mindourmen.ie, here’s a short piece on Irish television:

College and University Centres for Men

We’re seeing an increase in the number of young men (and women) with an awareness of the multiple assaults on men’s and boys’ human rights, and a determination to challenge them. So it was good to get an update from ‘College and University Centres for Men’ http://collegemencenters.com/. From the website:

Study groups for men on college and university campuses are forming each week across the United States as well as in Europe, Canada and elsewhere in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. They are centres of male-positive discussions of boyhood and what it means to be a young man in the 21st century. On many campuses, these male studies groups have replaced or supplemented fraternities as places for sodality. This site is devoted to highlighting such centres. In its postings section topics of interest are presented for groups meeting to take up for discussion. Please contact us if there is even an informal men’s study group on your university or college campus.

Christina Hoff Sommers: ‘School Has Become Too Hostile to Boys’

Christina Hoff Sommers is well known to MHRAs partly due to two of her books, Who Stole Feminism? How Women Betrayed Women and The War Against Boys. A new and revised edition of the latter has just been published http://www.amazon.co.uk/War-Against-Boys-Misguided-Policies/dp/1451644183/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1376923381&sr=1-2&keywords=the+war+against+boys

For many years the demonization of masculinity has started when boys are very young. In the UK almost all primary schoolteachers are women, and three-quarters of secondary schoolteachers likewise. And we shouldn’t forget that many of these boys are being raised by single mothers. The pervasive anti-masculine culture must surely be damaging the psyches of these boys. When the time comes for developed countries to go to war again, and ‘reconstructed’ men refuse to fight, who will be in the front line? Feminists? One can but hope. Time has just published a new article by Christina:
