‘I love you Kitty, and so does Dad. So why can’t we be together?’

A few weeks ago we put up a link to a remarkable video recorded by a 16-year-old English girl, Aimee Nicholls. The transcript of her comments has just been released, and at the end of the piece there’s a link to the video:

There’s only one respect in which I’d disagree with Aimee. She says, ‘the (family law) system is completely broken’. On the contrary:

The system is operating exactly as it’s designed to operate – to give power to women, and to emotionally and financially assault men, regardless of the reason(s) for the relationship breakdown, and the cost to fathers and their children.

David Cameron’s new line of work?

During yesterday’s Prime Minister’s Questions David Cameron was asked about the political situation in Egypt, specifically the position of Mohammed Morsi, the democratically-elected president, who was shortly afterwards deposed in a military coup, and put under house arrest, where he remains.

Cameron made comments to the effect that although Morsi had been democratically elected, he should represent the interests of all Egyptian citizens, not just those who voted for him and his party.

All this from the man who leads a government which relentlessly advantages half of society (women and girls) and disadvantages the other half (men and boys), like all governments for 30+ years, regardless of the damage caused to society.

Cameron has been a dismal failure as a politician, both at home and abroad. With his remarks about the need to represent all citizens, he’s clearly practising for a new line of work after he departs from 10 Downing Street in May 2015. Stand-up comedian.

Men’s Hour: time to recognise J4MB exists?

I’m increasingly being asked why I’ve not been interviewed on the BBC radio show Men’s Hour. I reply that I’ve sought the attention of the presenter, Tim Samuels, in the past – but without success. He’s made numerous pro-feminist statements over time, so the programme isn’t the counter to Woman’s Hour which so many men would like. In one particularly depressing edition of the Radio Times, Samuels was roundly praised by one of the stalwarts of Woman’s Hour, Jenni Murray:

I can’t find contact details for Tim Samuels on the BBC website, so I’m about to contact her agent at United Agents, Rosemary Scoular, through her assistant Aoife Rice arice@unitedagents.co.uk. If you’d like to hear me interviewed on Men’s Hour, I’d ask you to send her an email to that effect. Thank you.

The content of my email will be something along the lines of:

I lead the political party Justice for men & boys (and the women who love them https://j4mbdotorgdotuk.wordpress.com and I’m increasingly being asked why I’ve never appeared on Men’s Hour. British men collectively pay 72% of the income taxes paid in the UK, and women only 28%. Yet men (and boys) are ever more assaulted by the actions and inactions of the state, and we outline 18 areas in our public consultation document https://j4mbdotorgdotuk.wordpress.com/our-public-consultation-exercise-2/.

Since we announced the registration of J4MB four months ago, I’ve appeared on about 15 BBC radio and TV programmes including Woman’s Hour, Daily Politics, The Jeremy Vine Show... The audio and video files are here https://j4mbdotorgdotuk.wordpress.com/youtube-video-and-audio-files/.

We’re planning to contest the top 30 Conservative marginal seats in 2015, and recently started a 60-day campaign to raise £1,000 to fund our third candidate for that election. We reached the target in just 22 days.

Might I suggest it’s about time Men’s Hour recognised the existence of our party, and invited me for an interview? Thank you.

Australia: the celebrations are over, the hangovers have begun

In the past few days we posted stories about Australia. First we reported the good news that the misandrous PM Julia Gillard had gone, but now we learn that Kevin Rudd has appointed even more women to his cabinet:

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/asia-pacific/2013/07/20137103853523839.html

A priceless line in the report:

Rudd said the appointments were made purely on merit, not gender, and pledged to boost the economy.

Hmm. So Kevin Rudd has already managed to find more women of ‘merit’ than even Julia Gillard managed to track down. Oh, OK.

We also reported on a story about the New South Wales government seemingly starting to pay attention to male victims of domestic violence. ‘One in Three Campaign’ has since published the following sobering update:
