I’ve been away on holiday for a week, but one day I turned on breakfast TV and was disappointed to see a militant feminist commentator, Kat Banyard, whine on… and on… and on… and on… and on… about the major societal scourge of ‘Lad’s mags’. Only Laura Bates of ‘The Everyday Sexism Project’ whines for longer than Kat Banyard (apparently without drawing breath).

Heaven forbid that men (and women) should encounter images of attractive women on the front of magazines. One person texted the show to make the good point that nobody forces the women in these magazines to appear in them. I understand these magazines are contacted by thousands of women every week, keen to display their bodies to an appreciative audience.

For a little light relief, it was good to read American blogger JudgyBitch’s characteristically funny and feisty take on the matter, in a recent blog post. I strongly recommend you subscribe to her blog. Her posts are always worth reading, and heaven knows in our fight against militant feminism we need all the laughs we can get.

We recently posted a Daily Mail article about a 69-year-old woman who walked free from a court after being found guilty of killing her ex-partner. She was found guilty of manslaughter, but had already served nine months on remand. Such is the value of a man’s life. Well, she’d been depressed, drinking, and she suffered from arthritis. Take care if you’re in the vicinity of an arthritic depressed woman who’s been drinking and has access to the means to kill you.

And what of men? How does the British legal system treat a man who wishes his 21-year-old son ‘Happy Birthday’ on Facebook? By imprisoning him:
