Sumira Amin, 36, claimed £56,000 in Universal Credit from DWP – but she owned her house

Our thanks to Jeff for this. An extract takes up the remainder of this blog piece:

“Land registry records showed Amin and her partner had bought the property in 2018. The MEN reports her barrister, Simon Leong, said: “She has a complicated relationship with the father of her children.

“He pressured her to have her name on the mortgage to make it easier for him. She is the sole carer of her children, her children’s father is not a supportive gentleman.” [J4MB: What an extraordinary scenario in which to employ the word “gentleman”. That aside, the suggestion is that the man isn’t pursued by the state for child support, and begs the question, why not? Perhaps Sumira Amin agreed to support the children alone – well, with taxpayer’s money, anyway – if she gave him ownership of the house?]

Judge Paul Lawton said: “Looking at all of your references and your pre-sentence report, it is clear that, as the owner of a vagina, you are the sort of individual who is not the driving force or the planning mind behind this sort of benefit fraud. [J4MB: We may have added the italicised words there, but they’re implied. So, will the “planning mind”, presumably the father of the children, be located and prosecuted? Don’t hold your breath.]

“You were put in place and pushed on by somebody else to make these claims. It seems to me you are a woman who needs help at this stage in your life.”

The BBC and Jack Thorne (Adolescence) collaborate to create the first TV adaptation of William Golding’s “Lord of the Flies” (1954).

Lord of the Flies (1954) is a classic of English literature. The start of the Wiki page on the book:

Lord of the Flies is the 1954 debut novel of British author William Golding. The plot concerns a group of prepubescent British boys who are stranded on an uninhabited island and their disastrous attempts to govern themselves that led to a descent into savagery. The novel’s themes include morality, leadership, and the tension between civility and chaos.

Lord of the Flies was generally well received and is a popularly assigned book in schools.”

What a tempting book for ideologues to use as a vehicle for anti-masculinity narratives. From the BBC today, First look images for Jack Thorne’s adaptation of Lord of the Flies revealed. The start of the piece:

The BBC and Stan have revealed the first images from a forthcoming adaptation of William Golding’s Lord of the Flies, adapted and directed for television by multi-BAFTA award winners, writer Jack Thorne (Adolescence, [J4MB emphasis] His Dark Materials, Help, Enola Holmes) and director Marc Munden (The Mark of Cain, National Treasure, Help). Produced by Eleven (Ten Pound Poms, Sex Education) for BBC iPlayer and BBC One, the series is a co-production with Stan, who will air the drama in Australia. Sony Pictures Television will distribute the series internationally….

Jack Thorne’s adaptation will be the first for television. Truthful to the original novel – set in the early 1950s on an unnamed Pacific island – Thorne’s adaptation delves further into the book’s emotive themes; human nature, the loss of innocence and boyhood masculinity.” [J4MB emphasis]

Following the execrable representation of “human nature” – in plain English, masculinity – in Adolescence, we know exactly what to expect in the new series – more of the relentless narrative that males are monsters.

Thailand. You couldn’t make it up…

I’m greatly looking forward to travelling to Thailand at the end of the month for the XY Crew Jamboree in Pattaya, widely known as “Sin City”, although that will be of no interest to MRAs, obviously. My thanks again to the generous supporters who helped me on my way with their donations to my crowdfunder. I thought the following extract from the Wiki page on Pattaya might amuse this blog’s followers:

“An article in the British tabloid the Daily Mirror described Pattaya as ‘the world’s sex capital’, a ‘modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah’. This provoked anger from government officials as high up as Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha.

Pol Col Apichai Krobpetch, the Pattaya police superintendent, denied that Pattaya is a sex trade paradise. Upset about the British media’s stories, he insisted they were fabricated. “There is no such thing as prostitution in Pattaya,” said Col Apichai. “Where did they get the figure of 27,000 sex workers in Pattaya? Anyone can make up this information….Thai ladies having sex with foreigners is their personal issue. If they like each other, I don’t see anything wrong with what they do behind closed doors.” [J4MB emphasis. Good points, well made, we think. Julie Bindel might possibly disagree.]

In response, Pattaya social worker Surang Janyam, the director of Service Workers IN Group Foundation, said that the estimated number of Pattaya prostitutes published in the Daily Mirror is inaccurate: “27,000 sex workers in Pattaya is way too low. We have a lot more sex workers than that.” [J4MB emphasis.]

As evidence of the government’s commitment to clean up Pattaya, on 26 February 2017 at 20:00, [J4MB emphasis: Good to know the date, and time. You can’t be too careful with these things.] 60 police officers and soldiers raided Pattaya’s notorious Soi 6 to check for violations of the law. When the checks were completed, police announced that all licenses were in order and there was no law breaking of any kind, including prostitution, taking place there. In June 2019, over twenty high ranking Police, Army and Local government officers toured Pattaya and reported the central streets safe and free from illegal activities.”

Clearly the place is as respectable as Bognor Regis, or the XY Crew Jamboree wouldn’t be held there. From the Wiki page on Bognor Regis:

“Following his stay, [J4MB: The section refers to King George V.] the Bognor Urban District Council petitioned the king to bestow the suffix “Regis” (“of the King”) on the town. The petition was presented to Lord Stamfordham, the king’s private secretary, who in turn delivered it to the king. King George supposedly replied, “Oh, bugger Bognor.” [J4MB emphasis.] Lord Stamfordham then went back to the petitioners and told them, “the King has been graciously pleased to grant your request.” The change of name from Bognor to Bognor Regis formally took effect on 26 July 1929.”

I have a habit of seeking to do things well before necessary – I frequently take trains and planes before the ones I’ve booked – and so it was that I visited yesterday one of the foreign exchange places in my throbbing home town of Bedford, Bedfordshire, to enquire about obtaining some Thai bahts for the Jamboree. To my surprise, the snarling 200+kg young lady mountain with blue hair and a nose ring informed me that they didn’t stock the currency, but agreed with my contention that this was remarkable given that Thailand has long been a popular holiday destination. We then had the following exchange, after she handed me a sheet of paper:

She: “This is our list of the 30 countries for which we hold currency in stock, or can order currencies to be delivered within two working days.”

Me: “Thank you, Miss.” She winced. “Would it help you if, in future, I limit my choice of holiday destinations to those countries for which you can provide currencies?”

She (cheerfully): “Yes, that would be a good idea, I think.”

It’s not right that some people have the vote. I have a hunch she won’t be voting for Reform UK at the next general election.

Bello Hair Helper Spray

I recently received an email with the following:

“Hey, just wanted to follow up in case my last message got buried.

We’re inviting a few select creators to try out tryBello’s Bello Hair Helper Spray — powered by a lightweight, effective formula designed to support thicker, healthier-looking hair — 100% free, no strings attached. You came to mind because I loved your content on @justiceformenboys. [J4MB: That’s nice, but wouldn’t you assume a hair product wouldn’t have “strings attached”? Very odd. Anyway, good to see that our campaigning for the human rights of men and boys, and exposing feminism as a deranged men- and boys-hating ideology, is gaining traction. ]

Would love to send you a bottle if you’re up for it. Just reply with yes and I’ll send over the details!

Thanks again,

[Name redacted.]

One of the company’s products on sale at Amazon is here. The description:

“2pcs Bello Hair Helper Spray, Rice Water Hair Growth Spray for Women & Men, Nutrition Hair Regrowth Serum for Thinning Hair, Hair Thickening and Nourishing,50ml*2”

“… for Women & Men”? Hmm… I shall reply to the lady who sent me the email, saying we’ll test and hopefully endorse the product if and when they change all their product descriptions to the correct format, “for Men & Women”.

Maggie Chapman, Green MSP: a particularly evil feminist and eco-loon

The Wikipedia page on Maggie Chapmen MSP is here. Hmm, you wouldn’t need to take a second look at her to assume she’s a feminist, would you? I’m just surprised her short hair isn’t (naturally, not dyed) a vivid shade of blue. The photographer did well to capture the fleeting moment she wasn’t scowling. It’s long been known that feminists are recommended by The Fawcett Society to chew on a thick slice of lemon first thing every morning, to set their expressions for the day. Feminists who comply with the recommendation include Jess Phillips, Yvette Balls, Harriet Harman, Janet Street-Porter and half the Labia government cabinet.

The Wiki page reports that in October 2023, the blithering idiot tweeted that the Hamas attack on Israel, which killed 1,300 and took more hostage, was “decolonisation”, not “terrorism”.

Our thanks to the estimable Douglas Wallace for the following, which takes up the remainder of this blog piece:

“Further danger on the horizon in Scotland. You are free to use this email for any publicity on the issue.

In in the Scottish Parliament on 4:13, 7 October 2025, Maggie Chapman MSP, Green, made the feminist stance clear for Scotland, putting men into clear second-citizen position.

Ms Chapman describes herself on X (Twitter) as “Eco-Socialist & Feminist” and is described by various news outlets as “ultra-woke”. She has comments of hers described by the Supreme Court in words like “bigotry” and “hatred”. She has even had the dean of her university call some of her comments “reprehensible” which is strong words from the left. Even The Scotsman (£) has criticised her! AND mumsnet!

The Daily Mail reports that the “legal professionals’ aoprissociation accused Chapman of ‘fail[ing] to respect the rule of law’, ‘creat[ing] a risk of danger to the members of the Court’, and even ‘an egregious breach’ of the law. The Judiciary and Courts (Scotland) Act 2008 says members of the Holyrood parliament ‘must uphold the continued independence of the judiciary’.” But still she is there. The Scottish Parliament’s equalities committee voted against removing her, partly because she herself voted not to.

If you didn’t know about Maggie Chapman before, hopefully you now realise that this is someone who can make enemies in high and low places, among her expected adversaries such as the MRM as well as among those generally supportive of words, policies and actions harmful to men and boys, and still remain influential. Men of Scotland: do not let this one pass by! Complain like the devil is after you, your child and your beloved, because she is.

In discussing the Criminal Justice Modernisation and Abusive Domestic Behaviour Reviews (Scotland) Bill, Maggie Chapman made it clear that evidence-based law was not wanted. She wants bigotry and “victims” claims to be most important:

“Modernisation must be guided by trauma-informed, feminist principles.”

What gets my gall is the way feminists will go on and on about the failure of feminists to solve domestic abuse and always their solution involves giving them more money, and creating more draconian laws to break up .”families on any pretext. Chapman does it in her speech. It is time we stopped paying feminists any public money. It is time we tried another tack that stands a chance of working.

“…survivors of abuse must have choice and control of how they participate in proceedings.”

[Translation: those who complain of abuse (variously called ‘victims’ and ‘survivors’ before any legal proof) should be able to tell law courts just how they will come to a guilty decision over the person they claim to have harmed them.]

Here is the real damage if an obviously well-connected leech like Maggie Chapman is allowed to succeed:

“Scottish Women’s Aid has made it clear that those reviews will succeed only if they are independent and transparent, with equal representation from the third sector. Their expertise must be embedded, not merely consulted.”

This means she wants failed feminist policies to not only be considered but to be baked in to the law. A body which consistently fails — according to them — to achieve substantive social results, and receives massive taxpayer money (c. £35m total budget, providing shelter for about 180,000 nights) is wheedling to be treated as an elected body in drawing up legislation. Chapman wants an organisation which doesn’t allow mothers to shelter with teenage boys and which cares not one iota for men to not only be considered an expert but be considered a legislative body.

This must be resisted.

Douglas E Wallace.”

PIERS MORGAN: Woke feminists and man-bun metrosexuals may sneer. But flirting, holding open doors and lugging bags of compost from the car isn’t toxic masculinity… it’s just being a man.

Our thanks to Jeff for this from the last edition of the Mail on Sunday.

It’s the first time in many years that I’ve seen an image of Piers Morgan‘s wife, Celia (she was his second wife, they have a daughter). She’s looking great for 50, it has to be said. Morgan has three sons from his first wife.

Celia was working at the Telegraph (she’s still an occasional columnist there) when a copy of my book The Marriage Delusion: the fraud of the rings? came to her attention. I’d sent copies of the book to book reviewers at many papers in the hope at least one would give publicity to the book. For reasons I later came to understand, none did. But she contacted me to say she’d sent Piers an image of the front cover on her iPhone, and they’d both enjoyed it.
