Representative Kevin Cramer of North Dakota nailed his colours to the wall in an interview, explaining that he’s opposed to the idea that “you’re just supposed to believe somebody because they said it happened”.
The Democrat incumbent he’s hoping to unseat, Senator Heidi Heitkamp, cried in response!

The tweet leads back to an Eric Weinstein thread arguing that Kavanaugh (and everyone else) has been behaving in a partisan fashion and that this is toxic…
In my opinon, Kavanaugh was a victim of a politically motivated false allegation and he said so. That was what he should have done. Lindsay Graham said what he should have said too. The Dem’s are acting BAMN (by any means necessary). That’s not to say that I see no utility in a strong left of centre party – but not one with their lack of morals. The Republicans pretending that they don’t realise that the Democrats are playing an entirely different game to them will do nobody any good.
