An incredible and touching memoir that raises questions about how we treat convicts after they’ve served their time in The New York Times.

I’ve just spoken to a researcher called Hannah Morrison. She wants to hear from young men who have experienced misandry in their daily lives and who could potentially share those experiences with BBC Radio 1. The discussion will be happening today so don’t delay in getting in contact if you would like to feature!
Her email address is: hannah.morrison@bbc.co.uk
Our thanks to Nick for this quite nutty link!

To paraphrase: “I want to restructure gender roles and no that doesn’t mean that men will get to be involved in caring roles because only women are capable”.
Amazing how this is female empowerment but “maybe some of the gender gap in STEM is because a lot of women prefer other things” is sexism…

In an ABC interview, FLOTUS said (of #MeToo): “I support the women, and they need to be heard. We need to support them. And, you know, also men. Not just women.”
When asked if men who have been accused of misconduct have been treated unfairly, Mrs. Trump said, “We need to have really hard evidence, you know, that if you are accused of something, show the evidence.”

The Metro have dug up some dirt on Shaun Bailey – an article from 2016 in which he said that where he’s from people aren’t stupid and they know the system. They know they’ll get benefits for being single mums so they aren’t careful or they do it deliberately. He also says that (while he recognises some do a great job) we need to move away from the assumption that being a single mum is acceptable because kids need dads. He’s spot on!
64% of people surveyed by the Centre for Social Justice regard fatherlessness as “a serious problem”. If this is the worst the left can pull up, he’s doing alright so far. They might have more dirt to come but they’re so disconnected from what everyday people care about, they might just help him! I like him more every day, breath of fresh air he is!
