The late Annabelle Neilson (1969-2018) was a a British socialite, fashion model, author, and television personality. Neilson was, briefly, the first wife of Nathaniel Rothschild, 5th Baron Rothschild, from the Rothschild banking family of England.
She was also a friend and confidante and art advisor of Jeffrey Epstein, and now, it emerges, a supplier of young women to Epstein and his friends. Some sense of their relationship can be gleaned from emails between the two sent between 1010 and 2012, reported today in a piece in the Telegraph (£). They point to the reality that far from being “victims” of Epstein, many of the young women were willing participants.
In 2010 Epstein asked Ghisliane Maxwell to “reach out” to Neilson. Extracts from the article:
“(she wrote in an email) “So I am putting a little group of girls together. Hopefully one of them will have all the right qualities you desire. Wish I was 20 years younger and could speak French!!!
“I have to say that a few of my girls, who would be perfect for the job but are unfortunately past their sell-by date, would of all dropped their husband and almost children for the job when I asked them.” [J4MB emphasis]
She added: “You know I’ve just had a spark of genius while writing this, I think I may have the right girl.”
This was followed by a sign-off saying they will “all have some fun in London” as well as a thank you for a previous “stay”, though where Epstein hosted her is unclear.
At the end of the month, Epstein sent Neilson an email that said: “A sincere thanks for all your help today.. i really appreciated the effort.”
In response, Neilson said: “Sincere thank you for being a good friend, It was fun to have something to find you, that you really needed!!”
In later correspondence, dated November 2012, Neilson was asked by the paedophile whether she had “any cute friends” in Paris, to which she responds: “Non in Paris. Let me know if you come over. How about Davina…” “
