Our thanks to Nigel for this excellent video (7:14). He writes, in response to The Feminisation of the West is Now Complete:
“Well they have only themselves to blame. King Richard gives an interesting analysis from a number of perspectives. Not being an “Anglican” and very much an empiricist having been an economist by education I do take a Marxist slant to the origin of feminism. However as feminism has moved out of Academe and the esoteric Elites and into every classroom I have great hopes the simple analysis very succinctly expressed in this short video will occur to many young men. That what is on offer is not “freedom from gender roles” but a reinforcement of traditional expectations for males and indulgence for females.
The irony is that this is even clear in the “documentary” (well to the idiotic Sir Keir) Adolescence. For it is clear that the boy’s “appropriate” response to the rejection and subsequent bullying through a social media “pile on” orchestrated by the Girl who rejects him, should have been stoical forbearance informed by “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me”. Of course the complete opposite would have applied if he had orchestrated a campaign against a girl, because of course in that case even “unwanted compliments” are “violence”. The very notion that such should just be ignored is “blaming the victim” and abuse. Of course boys and young men don’t see the gross inequalities that open up once families are formed and careers pursued but they will see the huge gap between the ideology that is being pushed and their actual experience and that of their friends. Specially if nudged to simply reverse the sexes in the scenarios they are given. There is no deep analysis needed to observe exactly the unfairness the video illustrates.”
