  1. It will be interesting. Gorton is an area that has had a very rapid shift in the ethnicity of its population. The sectarian “pro Palestine” Workers Party took a lot of labour votes. And overall the vote was far more fragmented than the days when Labour took 75% of the vote. It will be interesting.
