Welsh Women Whining

Give me strength. An article by two female Welsh ‘journalists’ at the BBC about whiny female entrepreneurs in Wales. It’s basically a whinefest about women facing exactly the same challenges as male entreprenurs in Wales, and no gratitude for taxpayer-funded (i.e. mainly male taxpayer-funded) support. The end of the article takes up the remainder of this blog piece:

A spokesperson for the UK government said it was “putting women at the heart of its grown agenda to make the UK the best place for women-led businesses by tackling barriers and unlocking opportunities for them”. [J4MB: As always, the ‘barriers’ and ‘opportunities’ are unspecified.]

“The Invest in Women Taskforce has secured over £500m in funding for women-led businesses over the past 12 months and investment in female entrepreneurs began in August this year,” they said. [J4MB translation: “investment in” means “money pissed away on”.]

The Welsh government said since May 2021, Business Wales had supported 2,301 start-ups led by women [J4MB translation: “supported” means “money pissed away on”.] which is “56% of all start-ups supported”.

“The Development Bank for Wales supports female entrepreneurs via many projects, including the Women Angel of Wales syndicate which increases the activity of female angel investors” they added.

  1. Within the domestic setting, women expected to be provided for. This was in return for their unique ability to bear children.

Unfortunately, take them out of the domestic setting, they still expect to be provided for.

The mindset remains, although the realities of the outside world are completely decoupled from their USP, their unique selling point, of bearing children.

They expect to be provided for, without effort on their part, and giving nothing meaningful in return.

The same behaviours of minimal reciprocity tended to happen so often domestically.

      • A couple of observations on the female ‘entrepreneurs’, Mike…

        • They will concentrate on ‘beauty’ businesses, as this is the female intra-sexual competitive arena, in trying to land a ‘high-value’ man (whereas men will compete with other men in innovation & creativity, generally to the benefit of society overall)
        • They appear to exhibit a callous disregard for the well-being of their clients. This dental whitening ‘course’ using peroxide levels hundreds of times above the legal level is probably the tip of the iceberg. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c20z7xx6nr4o
        • Those adversely affected by cosmetic ‘treatments’ can probably consider themselves victims of the Manipulative Reproductive Suppression highlighted by Dr Dani Sulikowski, and considered by William Collins in his article ‘Unwin, Glubb, Sulikowski and the Decline of the West’. Take a beautiful woman like Leslie Ash (especially in Quadrophenia days), pump her lips with filler until she looks ridiculous, and there’s another intra-sexual competitor taken out of the equation.
        • This has already reached surreal and absurd levels. Don’t want too many links, but look up the recent (last week) BBC article: “Move over fillers – here’s why people are having facial injections made from fish sperm.”

People..? People aren’t having facial injections made from fish sperm. Women are.

The last think the country needs, presently, is more taxpayer money being shovelled at this unproductive nonsense where women wage war on each other.

  2. I despair.Calls to trial four-day week for schools to boost teacher recruitment and retention | UK News | Sky News Not only four day week for schools but a 32 hour week for the same pay as a five day week. A profession steadily becomes female dominated and stage by stage it becomes less and less productive. As we can see in GP services where part time work is practically the norm. In education we’ll see even more inconsistent education as they “cover” and have supply teachers filling in as teachers enjoy a pay rise with less actual work and better “work life balance”. Add in the huge army of teaching assistants etc. which simply didn’t exist 20 years ago and yet another public service is run for the convenience of its workers rather than the people who its supposed to serve, in this case pupils and their education. As it is many teachers are part time and schools do accommodate request for part time work. At least they don’t have to pay full time salaries.

All this at a time when the nation desperately needs to get real and up its productivity to climb out of debt and stagnation.

  3. Once they’ve got the customer’s money in their pocket, there seems to be a very tenuous understanding that female ‘entrepreneurs’ should deliver on the promises they made.

Of course, we should have known. A failure to realise that they signed up to a contract, with expectations, has long dogged the marriage contract which underpinned their main business model.
