Excellent video (9:08) from Jacob Rees-Mogg here.
Ah, the WASPI Women. Now this one is a personal beef of mine, and no one ever points it out, including Mr. Rees-Mogg here.
Actuaries calculate pensions based on life expectancy and probability, in the same way that a higher risk group pays higher insurance premiums. Women live 4 years longer than men, so shouldn’t women retire at 69? Coupled with the fact, that as Mr Rees-Mogg points out, they had 17 years notice to prepare.
