Excellent (video, 21:25). For an increasing number of men, “No wife, happy life” is a motto to live by.

An excellent piece in a blog published by The Times of Israel, well worth reading in full. The short bio on the site of the writer, Rebecca Wald:
“Rebecca Wald, J.D. is the executive director of Bruchim, a nonprofit that supports non-circumcising Jewish families as they navigate the often complex terrain of Jewish institutional acceptance and the family dynamics surrounding their unusual choice. She is also the co-author of Celebrating Brit Shalom, a guide to alternative Jewish covenant ceremonies for families welcoming a new child. Rebecca graduated with honors in English from The George Washington University, and received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she served on the editorial board of the Brooklyn Law Review.”
I posted these comments:
“Rebecca, thank you for this very balanced piece, to which I’ll link now. The AAP’s 2012 policy statement was an utter scandal, explored in the film “American Circumcision”. To the best of my knowledge no other medical body in the world came to the same conclusion, and all that have reached a conclusion have been firmly against the circumcision of children other than on medical grounds.
We have campaigned against circumcision on non-medical grounds since 2013. In the UK carry out such circumcision is implicitly illegal under the Offences Against the Person Act 1861, being at least ABH and almost certainly GBH. I tried to take out a private prosecution of a Sikh doctor but wasn’t given leave to do so.

Today’s file is here (7:04).
Over a period of more than two years we’re posting links to one video daily from the J4MB YouTube channel. The channel includes our media appearances since 2012, 300+ videos of talks and other materials from the International Conferences on Men’s Issues (2014 – ) and other men’s issues conferences we’ve been involved with, and so much more. The individual conference playlists are here.
Our website Campaign for Merit in Business was created in the light of the considerable evidence of a causal link between increasing gender diversity on boards and corporate financial decline. Mike Buchanan, Steve Moxon and Dr Catherine Hakim (the originator of Preference Theory) presented evidence to House of Commons and House of Lords inquiries in 2012, the video of their House of Commons evidence session is here (56:50).
Finally, we run the award-winning website Laughing at Feminists. The related comedy channel (170+ videos) is here. Remember, it’s more than important to laugh at feminists, it’s a civic duty.

A piece in yesterday’s Telegraph (£) Miliband admits wind power less reliable than expected. An extract:
“The changes were blamed on new modelling showing that wind turbines generated less power at various wind speeds than previously thought, as well as updated assumptions on what can cause turbines to lose power. [J4MB emphasis. A lack of wind, maybe? I’m no expert, though. I know almost nothing about wind energy, the only thing I have in common with Ed Miliband, it seems. The idiot must be fired. The whole Net Zero initiative is clearly based on magical thinking.]
A spokesman for the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) did not address why the Government had revised its estimates down so drastically.”

I’ve just had an email from a well-known MRA, asking if he can speak at ICMI25. I had to tell him that Anil Kumar took over responsibility for ICMIs earlier this year, so I was no longer involved. But it turns out he’d need a time machine to attend the event, as it took place earlier this month (13-17 October).
I knew nothing about the event, and I’ve never heard of any of the keynote speakers. I shall be having a strong word with Anil when we meet next week during the XY Crew Jamboree in Thailand.

I first heard of (professor, at the time) Matt Goodwin over a very pleasurable 1:1 lunch with Nigel Farage about three years ago. There isn’t a more astute commentator on British politics.
Matt’s blog has 87,000+ subscribers in 181 countries, so comments we leave in response to his posts are seen by a lot of people. I’ve posted the following comments which have already started to receive upvotes:
“Matt, thanks for another great piece. Every day is another day that Nigel Farage and Reform UK take another step towards #10. That day can’t come soon enough for millions of us.
Hopefully at some point Reform UK will make a public pledge to sort out, when in office, the ideologically-driven (feminist / anti-family) family courts which deny parents (fathers in 95% of cases) access to their beloved children, based on allegations alone, which lead to legal aid for the person making the allegation, and are almost never investigated by the police.
This is child abuse and abuse of fathers (many of whom tragically commit suicide) and the child’s aunts, uncles, grandparents, and so many more. Millions of potential votes there, surely!

Interesting. This is potentially one of the most important blog posts we’ve ever published. Fingers crossed. It is of necessity a fairly lengthy one.
The start of the article:
“A lawsuit filed by circumcision opponents cleared a crucial legal hurdle last week as a judge shot down Oregon’s attempt to dismiss the case.
The suit, filed in March on behalf of several circumcised men, alleges they suffered unlawful sex discrimination because Oregon lawmakers banned female genital mutilation in 1999 but allowed male genital cutting to continue.
Multnomah County Circuit Judge Melvin Oden-Orr issued an oral ruling Thursday finding that the plaintiffs have standing — in other words, that there’s a valid allegation of harm that could be fixed by winning a lawsuit.
Defeating state attorneys’ motion to dismiss means the litigation can proceed to discovery, a months- or years-long process when both sides turn over evidence.
“They suffered stigmatic harm by being treated as lesser than, or be given less legal rights, because of their sex,” Eric Clopper, [J4MB emphasis] lead counsel for the circumcised men, said in an interview Monday. He also said they were injured physically.”
Some longer-term followers of this blog will recall Eric Clopper as the Jewish man who gave a remarkable talk at Harvard University in 2018 on the subject of MGM. Our blog pieces on Clopper are here.
Our YouTube channel has a playlist of 113 videos on the issue of MGM. It contains Clopper’s talk, which was titled Sex & Circumcision: An American Love Story by Eric Clopper (video, 2:10:50). The full video description takes up the remainder of this blog piece:
“Eric Clopper’s nonprofit combatting infant genital mutilation, please go to https://www.intactglobal.org/ My show ‘Sex & Circumcision: An American Love Story’ premiered at Harvard University’s Sanders Theatre on May 1, 2018.
Two days later, the student paper, The Crimson, defamed the performance that they did not see a “Naked, Anti-Semitic Rant.” Harvard suspended my employment for over 2 months then terminated me and drove my Harvard boss to suicide for supporting me.
If you’d like to support my work, stay apprised of further developments, or help with nation-wide litigation to protect all children from genital mutilation, please subscribe to Intact Global’s email list at https://www.intactglobal.org/
For podcast and publicity inquiries, please email me at eric@clopper.com
I hope you can find the two hours to follow me down the rabbit hole.
— Clopper”
