Of course this is the case. The current Party in power has the most to lose from any thorough examination of the history of this scandal. From Jess Phillips whose “feminist principles” are ditched because her seat is under threat from an Islamic “independent” (who reduced Jess’ majority from 10,000 to under 500 at the last election to the parade of Labour controlled Councils which turned blind eyes to the under age victims specially those supposedly in their Care, to the Labour “Police and Crime Commissioners”(including the Mayors who include this responsibility) who did nothing or deny it happened (yes you London Mayor). To the left leaning local and national civil servants who decided “Diversity” trumped justice or even child protection. And even the CPS (“not in the public interest” to prosecute) and Police (“endanger community relations”).
All in all I’d be amazed this ever gets off the ground, at least while Labour is in power and if it does it will be in the most toothless and long winded form they can contrive.

Unless they are kept under constant pressure.
