SCOTLAND: Rose Docherty, 75, grandmother, led into police van and arrested after holding ‘here to talk’ sign outside hospital.

Scandalous. Rose Docherty was held in custody for several hours. She was refused a chair in her cell, despite telling police she had a double hip replacement.

  1. Her bail conditions prevent her from attending an area marked out to be even wider than the initial 200m “buffer zone” around the hospital.

very , very silly and not thought out..

what if she required to attend that same hospital for treatment or emergency ?

this was done to intimidate her, but yet I hear nothing about the teacher who was forced into hiding by similar “protestors” of a particular religion” because the teacher taught material that was mandated by the state…

    were those “protestors” arrested?

women have choices, including the right to accept offered advice, listening etc from anyone who will offer them support in this situation, yet we appear to have a situation whereby “choice” is only proscribed from those who have their own narrative and political agenda. make you think it was being run like a “protection racket”

    • Thanks Rob. Good points but I suspect Mrs Docherty knew full well she’s be arrested, and courted that possibility (as she did before) in order to raise public awareness of the awful legislation in question. I tip my hat to the inspiring woman.
