Drunk woman caught performing sex act with another woman in Gateshead doorway at 8:45 a.m. convicted for outraging public decency. Suspended sentence because vagina.

Our thanks to Steve for this. An extract:

“But as previously reported in ChronicleLive, Crawford was again in trouble with the police in June following an outburst in Durham city centre. The 40-year-old assaulted a police officer after throwing items of shop stock in the street. When she was taken to a police cell, she “defecated” [J4MB: Why the quotation marks?] inside it, causing damage.”

Suspended Labour councillor Ricky Jones, 58, found not guilty of encouraging violence after calling for Southport protesters to have ‘throats slit’

Two-tier justice. An extract from the GB News piece:

“The councillor was captured in a video addressing crowds on Hoe Street in Walthamstow, east London, on August 7 last year.

The counter-protest had been set up in response to plans for an anti-immigration march outside Waltham Forest Immigration Bureau.

He said: “They are disgusting Nazi fascists. We need to cut all their throats and get rid of them all.”

He also drew his finger across his throat as he spoke to the crowd.”

Women in mining say industry missing out on female leadership talent

Disgraceful. The summary of the piece, at the start of the article:

“More women have entered the mining industry in the past 20 years, but they only hold about 16 per cent of top-level management positions. [J4MB: And 0% of miner positions, shouldn’t they be campaigning about that scandal?]

It is part of a global downward trend in women being hired to senior management positions since the pandemic.” [J4MB: At last, a trend – if it exists – to be welcomed! Obviously women were more affected by the pandemic. Asteroid impact to end all human life on earth, women most affected.]

An extract:

“Ms Smith said it was important the industry encouraged more women into leadership roles. [J4MB: She doesn’t say why it’s important, is the industry embarrasingly profitable, perhaps?]

“One of the things that will encourage that is men seeing women do the job … seeing is believing,” Ms Smith said.

She also said the industry needed to stop holding women to a higher standard than men.

“We’re perceived to be a higher risk candidate, [J4MB: Hmm, why might that be? The appalling track record of women in CEO roles, and the causal link between increasing gender diversity on boards and corporate financial DECLINE? No, that can’t be it… it’s a mystery, all right!] and therefore the benchmark seems to go up,” she said.

“I don’t think men have the same need [as women] to be exceptional.” ” [J4MB: Yay, let’s appoint more mediocre candidates, so more women get appointed!!!]
