What no BBC drama based on this real case? No ruminations about toxic femininity? No invocations of how female “influencers” are corrupting girls? Surely the omnipresent Andrew Tate had something to do with this. Fascinating to compare with the moral panic around a fictional account in a drama “Adolescence”. This real case doesn’t fit the “narrative” whereas a made up example of something that has in fact never happened (the to cases the authors cite “inspired” their tale involved a 16 and 19 year old). Was called a “Documentary” by our PM.
