  1. Well glad to see Justice done here. Man found guilty of assaulting two female police officers at Manchester Airport | The Standard Or rather partially done. Undoubtedly the two police women were speedily dispatched by assaults by the pair. However its interesting that there is Jury disagreement about PC Marsden. The footage shows PC Marsden coming under sustained attack from both defendants once his colleagues were out of the fray. But of course unlike his two female colleagues he fought hard to subdue his dangerous assailants, and succeeded. It seems his resilience and refusal to back off in tears counts against him. Could it possibly be there were different expectations in the Jury of the man? It seems sustaining a battering isn’t such a hardship if you are a male officer. I’m pleased the CPS indicates they will try to prosecute again for PC Marsden.
