Farage has killed off the Conservative Party | Sir John Curtice

Interesting (video, 12:58), apart from some silly remarks about women choosing work over having children.

Nurofen Packaging Highlights Dismissal of Female Pain

Our thanks to Nigel for this. He writes:

“It is a remarkable thing that feminists appear to believe men and boys are some sort of Gods who are impervious to pain, illness, distress, violence and even natural disasters. It leads to all sorts of idiocies. One such is the Nurofen campaign in the UK based upon some sort of gender “Pain Gap” that has to be righted.

Now Nurofen as a brand has a long history of targeting “period pain” etc. directing its advertising specifically at women. If you look closely at the research you actually find that 56% of Women and 49% of men felt their pain was being underestimated. Not a big “gap” at all. However 63% of women felt men’s pain was taken more seriously because of gender discrimination by health professionals. In fact of course the research didn’t bother asking men the same question! Nor did any of it rely on anything other that what respondents “felt” was the case. Nor indeed bothered to ask health professionals.

It is in fact typical of so much, like Mrs. Obama, based on impressions and feelings front loaded with the idea that women “suffer” and this must mean somehow men are just fine. Even though on just about every health indicator, including lifespan, the reverse is true! I suppose the Nurofen campaign is after all just and advertising campaign by an Ad. Agency but its is at about the same level of supposedly serious research.”

PM warned more funding needed to halve crime against women.

Our thanks to Warren for this:

“Have just seen this one on the BBC. ‘PM warned more funding needed to halve crime against women.’ https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8e6jjpn8p7o

Dame Nicole Jacobs and Baroness Newlove want Sir Keir to throw yet more taxpayer money into the bottomless pit of protecting women from the Patriarchy. (I wonder how ‘Patriarchy’ works for the average man when he sees these powerful feminist advisors in action..??)

Anyway, there’s an easy way for our PM to halve those VAWG statistics overnight.

Maybe just stop recording violence against men & boys in the VAWG figures, so as to make the flow of violence look like a one-way street.

There! Fixed it for him.”

My reply to (Lord) Daniel Finkelstein, relating to MGM, and the video where he (again) told me to f*** off.

Daniel Finkelstein is a Jewish Tory peer and a former executive editor of The Times, where he remains a weekly political columnist, and has been a regular columnist at The Jewish Chronicle since 2010. Today The Times published an article by him, We can’t let white anger exploit ‘free speech’. I am barred from posting comments on Times articles – I believe due to my pro-life and other anti-feminist views – so I shall email Daniel (daniel.finkelstein@thetimes.co.uk) a link to this blog piece. My comments to him:

“Male circumcision (Male Genital Mutilation) is implicitly a crime under the Offences Against the Person Act (1861) being at least ABH and almost certainly GBH. The state never prosecutes the criminals who carry it out, and I wasn’t permitted to bring a private prosecution against a Sikh doctor who had caused so much damage. THAT is “how the criminal law works”.

My thanks to you for your contribution to a video from outside the 2018 Tory party conference in Birmingham, where we were protesting again about MGM, Lord Finkelstein tells Mike Buchanan to “f*** off, again!” (12 seconds).

Staying on the topic of how the criminal law works, men experience far more severe sentences than women, particularly in relation to custodial sentences. Do you think that should continue, or should there be gender equality in sentencing terms?
