NHS plans to DNA test all babies to assess disease risk – time to introduce mandatory paternity testing at birth.

Our thanks to Tony for this. A cheek swab from inside the father’s cheek and all is in place for a paternity test. Mandatory paternity testing should have been introduced decades ago. Our last general election manifesto has a section on paternity fraud (pp.48-50), a crime for which no woman has ever been prosecuted by the Crown.

  1. Yes it’s going to become increasingly untenable to argue “paternity” testing is “invasive”. After all if the Genome is mapped for the baby then the questioning dad just needs his test to compare. No need to test the baby specifically for a paternity test.
