BBC Bosses Draw Up Plans to Win Over Reform Voters by Changing News and Drama Output

Hilarious. The start of the piece in Byline Times:

“The BBC’s Director General Tim Davie and other senior bosses at the BBC have drawn up plans to win over voters of Reform UK, due to a belief that their news and drama output is creating “low trust issues” with supporters of Nigel Farage’s party.” [J4MB’s message to Davie: “No shit, Sherlock!”]

So, what’s driving the BBC to even consider such a change in output, which will never happen, obviously? Perhaps… just perhaps… it’s that Reform UK are the only party that would scrap the BBC license fee.

  1. if we really need a state broadcaster we could simply have Channel 4 with a much smaller cost to the taxpayer. It is remarkable to me that discussion of the BBC always seems to leave out that we have two “state” broadcasters. At least Channel 4 reality TV and quiz programmes are funded by adverts not a tax.

.. and perhaps not to do with the plan( or idea) that the BBC is going to force everyone to pay for their biased, “sunday sport” style of critical thinking about issues, even if they don’t watch tv anymore. ??

The BBC clearly lack critical thinking at the top( and trickling down to the bottom of the sewer), and has not been fit for service for many years. They have long ceased to represent the British public, instead depending on the london mayors image of the london demographic to represent the UK..

It’s time to apply the Occam razor of sustainability and put the BBC out to the wild to fend for themselves( or is it they are worried they won’t be able to justify their ridiculous salaries)
