During her stay at the hospital in Scutari, far from saving countless lives and establishing the foundations for modern day nursing/ hospital practises. It has been alleged that during her management of the hospital, there was a surge in deaths [J4MB emphasis] due to her poor understanding of the transmission of germs and sewage systems.
