Over a period of almost six months we’re posting links to one video daily from the comedy channel of our associated award-winning website, Laughing at Feminists. Remember, it’s more than important to laugh at feminists, it’s a civic duty.

Appalling. The start of the BBC piece:
“Leader of the House of Commons Lucy Powell has sought to clarify her remarks after she appeared to describe grooming gangs as a “dog whistle” issue, prompting a backlash from political opponents.
During a heated debate on BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions on Friday, commentator and Reform UK member Tim Montgomerie asked Powell if she had seen a recent Channel 4 documentary on grooming gangs.
Powell responded “oh, we want to blow that little trumpet now do we” and “let’s get that dog whistle out shall we”.”

Lionel Shriver is an American authoress and journalist, now living in Portugal with her husband Jeff Williams, a jazz drummer, composer and educator. From her Wiki page:
“Shriver was born Margaret Ann Shriver, in Gastonia, North Carolina, to a religious family. Her father, Donald, was a Presbyterian minister who became an academic and president of the Union Theological Seminary in New York; her mother was a homemaker. At age 15, Shriver changed her name from Margaret Ann to Lionel because, being a tomboy, she felt a conventionally masculine name was more appropriate.”
The Spectator (£) has just published an excellent piece by her, The trans nonsense must stop (it is mental illness). I felt compelled to post the first comment published on her piece, requesting that she write about MGM:

An interesting piece (£) in today’s Sunday Times, which claims that a majority of Britons may now consider themselves neurodivergent, meaning they have a condition such as autism, dyslexia or dyspraxia, according to a leading psychologist. The psychologist is Francesca Happé. The start of her Wikipedia page:
“Francesca Gabrielle Elizabeth Happé (born 1967) is a British neuroscientist who is Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience and Director of the MRC Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry Centre at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. Her research concerns autism spectrum conditions, specifically the understanding social cognitive processes in these conditions.”
Last year she gave a talk at Gresham College, London – Changes in the Concept of Autism (video, 1:07:00).

Good news. In 2014 we posted a piece about a particularly obnoxious feminist pixie taking a fellowship at Harvard, Good news. Laurie Penny is leaving the country. Bad news. She’ll be returning in May.
