Interesting. I’ve posted these comments:
“Anyone wishing to understand the disadvantaging of males in the UK – caused almost always by the privileging of females – should read William Collins’s The Empathy Gap: Male Disadvantages and the Mechanisms of Their Neglect. The ebook’s a steal at under £5.00.”
and
“In 2013 Tim Samuels hosted Men’s Hour on BBC radio and never challenged feminist narratives, refusing to interview any anti-feminists. He was even endorsed warmly by Jenni Murray, the radical feminist host of Woman’s Hour https://j4mb.org.uk/2013/09/14/mens-hour-an-endorsement-from-a-militant-feminist-jenni-murray/.”

Perhaps since 2013 Tim Samuels has found, like Andrew Gold, that merely being a white man excludes him from formerly privileged perch. It seems his glory days of awards and BBC contracts petered out a decade ago. The son of photo journalist Sefton Samuels educated at Manchester Grammar and St Andrews University , very much on the edge of the “elite” it is no surprise he’s had expectations of being of being in the “in crowd” in media. So maybe he’s had a red ish pill. Though I suspect he’s more bothered about race than sex. Apparently described as a “”Benevolent Anarchist” I doubt he’ll rattle too many cages and maybe is promoting his book. However the trailer does have examples of direct and illegal (in Britain) discrimination against men. Worth a look see, not least because maybe some in reform might tale a look with Goodwin’s endorsement.
