Ms Bates – The Everyday Whining Project – and I were both interviewed by Jeremy Vine for his BBC2 Radio 2 show in 2013, soon after we launched as a political party. She lied when she said “No” in response to Jeremy Vine’s question, “Are you reading from notes, Laura?” She won two of our “Lying Feminist of the Month” awards in the space of a year. Why would anyone believe a word she says, in unverifiable anecdotes and elsewhere?
