  1. Which is of course why there is separate mens and women’s sports in almost every sport one can think of . The commentators keep harping on how wonderful the women players were was practically satire! Because of course they were playing some unknown local team not any international or even national team.

    of course the women could just get on with playing the game, enjoying it, building a following and not comparing themselves with the men’s USA team until they have built up the same audiences and followings. But that means working for it .
