Janice Fiamengo’s latest Substack piece In Every White Boy, a Potential Killer was a treat to read (as usual), as has been the (as usual) the comments section, 248 comments to date. Janice replied to one comment:
“Given that so many female teachers hate the presence of boys in their classrooms, it’s too bad they don’t press for separate classes for boys, taught by male teachers. One presumes it would be better for the girls and the female teachers, and certainly better for the boys (and would provide employment for some intelligent and able men). But of course they won’t, not only because some female teachers would be out of work but because the boys would do so much better when freed from the obnoxious indoctrination, bullying, boredom, and distraction.”
I replied:
“Thanks Janice, I couldn’t agree more. I was educated in Roman Catholic boys-only boarding schools in England between the ages of 7-16, happy days! Two points on education:
– Following the decline in the numbers of male teachers in primary and secondary education (five to 18 years of age) a (usually) female teacher along with an (invariably) female teaching assistant educate children today to a lower standard than one male teacher 50+ years ago, and at a higher combined cost. Anyone who wants to learn more on this might like to watch 19:06 – 25:08 of my ICMI20 video Why Women Fail to Compete Successfully With Men, and Will Always Fail.
– teachers’ salaries have dropped in real terms over that period to the extent that a male teacher today will be unlikely to attract an attractive and pleasant women to become his partner (such a woman will be a non-feminist, by definition).”
