Scandalous (Times, £). Two-tier Starmer will use the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act 2010 to limit debate in the Commons and Lords to three weeks. Britain will relinquish sovereignty of the Chagos Islands and pay Mauritius £90 million a year, rising with inflation for 99 years, to lease back Diego Garcia, the island which hosts a strategically vital UK/US military base.

We can but hope that Nigel Farage and his fellow Reform UK MPs create a great stink about this act of treason in the coming days. Maybe even the Tories, too.
