A song written by some of the boys in Only Boys Aloud. https://youtu.be/G4pkFZr6io4?si=9vm25SwcZbt-v_OG What’s so good about it is that rather than they produce some soggy nonsense what they actually did is sing about striving, resilience, stoicism, self reliance and trying again. The stuff that would be “toxic masculinity”. I find it inspiring that even will the bombardment of negativity this uplifting statement, in song, of masculine virtues is what these boys wanted to share.
