Yawn. An extract:
“Women’s soccer is not yet profitable, with top-tier leagues generating an average of $4.4 million in revenue but spending an average of $7.6 million. The lowest tier averaged $76,000 in revenue, with $182,000 in expenses. FIFA did not identify the individual clubs within each each tier.”
Women’s soccer is a parasite on men’s soccer. Why should even a penny from men’s soccer go towards women’s soccer?

Oh dear, how sad. Presumably most of the revenue for women’s soccer comes courtesy of virtue-signalling politicians and corporate executives who care more about patting themselves on the back than the return on their investment. Acquiescing to feminist demands to give female athletes equal pay to their male counterparts will only accelerate the financial collapse of women’s sport. Female athletes should be paid what they are worth, which in most cases would lead to female sports becoming entirely amateur. One of the few exceptions would be women’s tennis, which somehow manages to attract an audience despite being as boring as batsh*t. I doubt you’d hear so much grunting in a piggery!

Thanks. I very much doubt even women’s tennis is self-funding. At Wimbledon the men and women have got the same prize money for many years. Insane.

Until it is profitable how can they expect to pay higher wages? The “top 16” says it all as these will be the virtue signalling exhibition teams of Premier leagues. WIth a vast number of mens amateur teams, semi amateur and lower league teams paying players nothing or very little there is a vast pyramid of players and interest in all levels of the men’s game, whereas there is no such deep involvement of a huge numbers in the women’s game. So the audiences are derivative of the fame of the massively popular big clubs. With little interest in the tiny number of women’s clubs.
