Ofcom calls on tech firms to make online world safer for women and girls – consultation

It hopefully doesn’t need me to point out to followers of this website that the Office of Communications, Ofcom, is a deeply ‘progressive’ organisation. Its lack of challenging of progressive media outlets (most notably the BBC) is shameful, as have been its attacks on GB News.

My thanks to M for pointing to a document published by Ofcom today, Ofcom calls on tech firms to make online world safer for women and girls. Ofcom also published the related Consultation on draft Guidance: A safer life online for women and girls. The document titles alone surely tell us that feminists are behind all this, and one of their objectives is to silence those speaking up for males and challenging feminism and feminists.

Our experience since 2012 – along with the experience of many other MRAs – has been that engaging in government consultation exercises is an exercise in utter futility. MRA submissions are published online along with other submissions but thay have precisely no impact on government policies and actions. This was true under Conservative governments and will be no less true under the current Labour government.

We invite anyone with a more optimistic view about the potential impact of engaging with the Ofcom consultation to share their submissions with us, we shall happily publish them on this website. The consultation closes 23 May, 2025.

Hence the reason to stop voting for the unity party….

There is a dire need for so much reform in much of the public sphere( and in many aspects of the private sphere) because the alternative is that the country continues to rot.

People are now talking about civil war( not just musk)

given the amount of delusion by the public( especially millennials and some of the zoomers) and the various inept govts of all flavours, I’m beginning to wonder if we are enacting “quatermass IV ” in real life..
