EDX Medical’s scientific team will validate further clinical data over coming months prior to seeking regulatory approval from the Medicines & Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) with a view to launching the test later this year or early 2026.

The test has been developed by scientists at Cambridge-based EDX Medical, which will be seeking regulatory approval this year in both the UK and US before rolling out the product privately at the start of 2026. It will then also make an application for it to be used on the NHS, it is understood.”
